In November last year 2022 I went to work in the Netherlands and left my cocker spaniel Raja (6 years old) and my kitten Malcho (9 years old)
By June this year 2023 I managed to settle in the new place and found an apartment where pets are allowed.
It was then that I started looking into transportation options for my pets. I contacted two companies, one of which set me up with a transport date for the very next day after the kitten's rabies vaccine was activated, which seemed questionable. The other company wanted almost no paperwork,for example, not a word about power of attorney.
During my search, I came across the Transport Logistics website and made an enquiry via the website form. After a few days I received a reply and started the preparation.
We waited the necessary time, and prepared everything needed for the road.
I was very worried, it's the road, everything happens. I was worried if they would have any problems at the border, how they would travel. 8 months the kitten and dog were separated and would travel together.
Strangely, after I found out they had crossed the border into Bulgaria I suddenly felt at ease and was now sure they would arrive safe, sound and unharmed. And so they did. They arrived on Saturday morning, June 24. Cheerful and energetic.
It was very good that the company people were constantly on the line, no matter the hour. This gave me an extra powerful dose of peace of mind and security.
